The Seton Center’s services are offered through four programs:

- Transportation to medical visits and job interviews
- Supportive visits to individuals and families at home, nursing homes, and hospitals
- Coordinating agencies' services for clients
- Information, advice, and supportive visits to families at home, nursing homes and hospitals
In a typical year, the outreach program touches the lives of approximately 5,000 people. In a recent year, this included:
- Home visits – 776
- Hospital visits - 290
- Nursing home visits – 1,390 persons visited
- Referrals – 155
- Financial assistance – 598 families
Thrift Shop
The Thrift Shop, the only one of its kind in the area, allows clients to shop with dignity and independence, providing quality clothing and household goods at affordable prices. All of the items are donated, and donations are always welcomed.
In a typical year, the Thrift Shop serves more than 15,000 people, many of whom are on limited budgets and/or lack of transportation to shopping areas to the south.
DePaul Dental Program
The Seton Center, Inc. has recently launched the DePaul Dental Program, named after St. Vincent de Paul. Through a variety of grants and in cooperation with local dentists and oral surgeons, the Seton Center is able to respond to the great needs of people lacking dental insurance.
This program will help improve the overall health of low-income adult clients, and hopefully provide them with opportunities that benefit themselves and their families.
Special Programs
The Center also helps people in need on special occasions, such as Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. There are three levels of service for families,
depending on their needs and on the number of sponsors and resources available. For Easter and Thanksgiving, sponsors provide nonperishable food items plus a gift certificate for perishable items. Christmas sponsors can provide a family with either toys and clothing, or food, or all three.
The Seton Center typically serves about 100 families at Christmas. Cash donations are also needed for all three holidays. Find out how you can help!
